Behind the Scenes
Behind our Art work
During the creation of specific artworks using acrylic, we have encountered many challenges and overcoming them has been a part of the creative journey, leading to discoveries, experimentation, and ultimately, growth as an artist.
Some of our challenges
Control of Colors: Achieving precise control over the colors and their interaction can be challenging in acrylic pour. It requires careful planning and execution to ensure that the colors blend harmoniously without muddying or overpowering each other.
Consistency of Paint: Maintaining the right consistency of the paint is crucial for successful pours. Achieving the ideal balance between thickness and fluidity can be a challenge, as different colors and brands of paint may have different viscosities.
Surface Preparation: Preparing the surface properly to prevent unwanted pooling, uneven drying, or adhesion issues can be a challenge. Ensuring the surface is level, clean, and adequately primed is essential for achieving desirable results.
Timing and Drying: The timing of each pour and the drying process can be a challenge to manage. Timing is critical for layering and creating specific effects, while drying times can vary based on factors such as humidity and temperature. Patience and planning are required to achieve the desired outcome.
Finding Balance: Striking a balance between control and spontaneity can be a challenge. Embracing the fluid nature of the medium while maintaining a level of intention and artistic direction can be a delicate balancing act.
